I had an opportunity to watch my first ballet with my in-laws here at the Danish Royal Theatre. I have only had a snippet of ballet rehearsals at the Kenyan National Theatre. It being my first ballet I honestly did not know what to expect. But I felt at home watching this great performance because of my love for art and the stage.

They expressed themselves passionately with what they love, and it could be felt from the music, to the moves, to the facial expressions, to the props, to the stage—everything was just smooth and perfectly done. The way the stage was transforming left me speechless. I kept saying "woooow" the entire time, which probably was annoying to others, I am sure, but to me, it was indeed a "woow" experience that I didn't have time to bother with what people think. Also check out the beautiful Christmas tree made from ballet shoes. I am grateful to my amazing husband for sharing this experience with me.
