Demo on how to bleach wood, pine cones....
If you want to do your own organic decoration you should prep our raw materials.
There are a few ways to do it.

1. a) You can bake it in the oven at 200F for about 20 to 30 min. You will know they are ready just by touching them and they will have a crispy sound to them when you touch them.
b. If you bleached them first or washed them and you need them to dry faster put them in the oven at 200F for 60min. But don't leave them unattended, check on them every 10 to 15 min. You might need to turn them over.
c. If you pine cones or branches big enough you can just put them on the oven racks.

2. You can also prep your materials by washing them in soap and water, and laying them out to dry in the sun (I find this most tedious)

3. The last but not least option is to bleach them. I find this helpful when you want to paint your craft or just give it that beachy look. MIX 50/50 water and bleach let soak 8 to 9 hrs, or over night. Rinse in water and lay out to dry in sun or proceed to method #1. Just in case let your materials drain of access water before putting in oven.

I hope you will find this helpful. Thank you for watching!
