enjoying the monsoon rains in Kerala - Annika's day with grandparents

The monsoon rains have finally arrived in Kerala! This year was a historically hot summer with heat waves all across north India. Here in Kerala too, the heat and humidity was getting unbearable. But luckily the rain clouds started appearing already in May and we had few good days of rainfall already. Little Annika was super excited about the rain showers. It was only her second monsoon and she barely remembers the first one. She had a lot of fun watching the rain with her dada & dadi in our house in Payyanur.
