Next press open the gate on the free end carabiner clips and secure them to your ceiling support. Make sure the strong polypropylene rope is attached securely to the carabiner hook so that the knot doesn't loosen during or after installation.

Then simply attach the ratchet end carabiner hooks to the light fixture or whatever equipment you choose to hang. The combined ratchet pair supports up to a whopping 150 pounds. This is easily done by flipping the latch on the ratcheting mechanism. Slowly guide the ratchet down on the rope to lower your equipment. To raise the equipment, grab hold of the free ends of the soft high-strength polypropylene ropes and gently pull upwards.
