Rapunzel:
Once upon a time in a kingdom nestled deep within a lush forest, there lived a young couple who longed for a child. Their wish was finally granted when the wife, after years of hopeful waiting, discovered she was expecting a baby. However, her pregnancy was fraught with complications, and as the days passed, it became clear that she needed a special herb that grew only in the garden of a sorceress named Gothel.

Desperate to save his wife, the husband ventured into the forbidden garden under the cover of darkness and stole a handful of the precious herbs. But his theft did not go unnoticed, for Gothel appeared before him in a fury. In exchange for sparing his life and allowing him to take the herbs, she demanded the child that his wife would soon bear. With no other choice, the husband agreed.

Months later, the wife gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, with hair as golden as the sun. The couple named her Rapunzel, and she grew into a kind-hearted and gentle child. But on her twelfth birthday, Gothel appeared once more, claiming her payment. She took Rapunzel away from her parents and locked her in a tower hidden deep within the forest.

The tower had neither doors nor stairs, and its only window was at the very top. Gothel visited Rapunzel daily, using her magic to climb up the impossibly long hair that Rapunzel possessed, which had grown to extraordinary lengths over the years. "Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let down your hair," Gothel would call, and Rapunzel would lower her hair for Gothel to climb.

Years passed, and Rapunzel grew into a young woman with hair that reached the ground from her lofty prison. Despite her isolation, Rapunzel's spirit remained unbroken. She spent her days singing and weaving beautiful tapestries, hoping that one day, someone would hear her voice and rescue her.

One day, a prince who was hunting in the forest heard Rapunzel's melodic singing. Entranced by her voice, he searched tirelessly until he discovered the hidden tower. To his surprise, he found no way to enter except through Rapunzel's long hair, which she let down for him.

Overwhelmed with joy at finally meeting someone from the outside world, Rapunzel and the prince quickly fell in love. They planned to escape together, but Gothel discovered their plot and confronted them in a rage. In her fury, she cut off Rapunzel's long hair and banished her into the wilderness.

Heartbroken, the prince was left to wander aimlessly until he stumbled upon Rapunzel, who had been wandering the forest. Their reunion was tearful but joyous, and together they returned to the prince's kingdom, where they were married amidst great celebration.

Rapunzel's parents, who had never given up hope of finding their daughter, were overjoyed to see her return. With Gothel's magic broken and her power diminished, she vanished into obscurity, never to trouble anyone again.

And so, Rapunzel and the prince lived happily ever after, ruling their kingdom with wisdom and compassion, while Rapunzel's golden hair remained a symbol of her resilience and the power of love to conquer all obstacles.
