In this episode of DKD (Dikshita Kshetra Darshanam), we visit Tiruvaiyar and the Dharmasamvardhani Kshetram and explore the Madhyamavati Kriti of Muddusvami Dikshitar, Dharmasamvardhani Danuja Sammardhani.
Dikshita Kshetra Darshanam (DKD), by Guruguhaamrta, is a project which endeavors to produce high-quality video documentaries combining the musical and other aspects of Kshetras (loosely translated as 'temples') that are also filmed at these Kshetras.
This project was conceived by classical vocalist, G Ravi Kiran, who is also the founder and Managing Trustee of Guruguhaamrta in collaboration with storyteller, arts, culture, history, and heritage enthusiast, Madhusudhanan Kalaichelvan.
All copyright rests with G Ravi Kiran, Guruguhaamrta and the performing artists for all the music used in this video.
The Dikshitar Kriti dharma samvardhani used here is performed by G Ravi Kiran with Madan Mohan, Praveen Sparsh and N Guruprasad exclusively for this production. Music recorded at Sahrdaya Sound Studio and mixed/mastered by Rakesh Pazhedam.
