In this video, we'll explain the mechanics and strategies used to fight Galenwe in Cloudrest.

General Mechanics:

If the two bosses are close together, they will Empower each other.

Once one boss goes down, Z'Maja will summon tons of Creepers, so you want to kill both bosses around the same time. Remember that Galenwe has only 15.5 million health, while Falarielle has over twice as much health at 37.5 million health.

Galenwe (sometimes called Rider):

He will create a "donut" or "ring" of ice on the ground. The "donut hole" is safe, but most people move him out of the center so any melee DPS can continue to hit him.

He will create an AoE on himself that deals damage to everyone around him. This is a big headache for the tank, since when combined with his Heavy Attack, it can drop your health very quickly. I recommend Dodge Rolling his Heavy Attack if this AoE is around him.

He plunges his sword into the ground and creates ice spikes on the ground. These ice spikes can destroy Hoarfrost if it connects. This move is interruptable.

He will teleport to the farthest player from him and create a large AoE after he teleports.

Falarielle (sometimes called Gryphon):

All of her moves except the Whirlwinds will put a bleed on you. These bleeds do stack, so if you don't dodge any of her attacks, the ticks will hit for over 10k every second. This bleed can't be cleansed.

She will rear up on her hind legs and do a frontal conal.

Every so often, she will fly into the air and create small whirlwinds. These whirlwinds will stun you and place a DoT on you called Dark Drain. This can't be cleansed. She will also create a large whirlwind which will knock you down and place Dark Drain on you.

She will rear up on her hind legs and screech. When this happens, one random person except the tanks will get Hoarfrost. This is a DoT on you that slows you down. After 6 seconds, you need to shed Hoarfrost by hitting the synergy button (may need to hit it multiple times). This will drop the Hoarfrost onto the field, which will appear as a tornado with a blue AoE. While the tornado is on the field, it will hit everyone with Frost Damage that gets more frequent and hits harder the longer it is out. Someone else needs to pick up the Hoarfrost and drop it. Once 3 people drop it, it will disappear.

Shadow Realm:

Every so often, a portal will appear in the middle of the room. People need to go into the portal and destroy the 3 crystals to spawn 3 orbs. These orbs will throw projectiles that deal Magic Damage to everyone in the Shadow Realm. When a crystal is destroyed, a spear of light will spawn in the real world. Someone needs to synergize with the spear to send it to the Shadow Realm. Once it is in the Shadow Realm, people there need to pick up the orbs with the synergy button and run to the spear. While you are holding onto the orb, you will be dealt constant Oblivion Damage. Once all 3 orbs are destroyed, everyone in the Shadow Realm will be returned to the real world. If you take too long, 4 Yaghra Monstrosities will spawn.

A player can only enter the Shadow Realm once every 2 minutes. If they try to use the portal before that timer is up, they will die.
