Grayson’s Story

Grayson is nine years old and was born with a rare chromosome disorder known as Angelman syndrome. Grayson has seizures, he is nonverbal, and he does not have the ability to walk on his own. But thanks to support from the Easter Seals community, Grayson has been given the chance to experience a life full of possibilities.

Grayson's mom, Linda, shares their journey from the moment they heard all the things Grayson “would never do” to the pride she feels today as he begins Grade Four.

With access to specialized equipment, Grayson can communicate, move around his school, and actively participate in his classroom. From sharing presentations to reading the attendance list, Grayson’s experience shows how the right support can make a world of difference.
