Acrylic Pouring Painting Fluid Abstract Art Comb Wrecked Ring Pour Art Alchemy Bling

Hello Friends! Welcome back! Today I am using some more of the Art Alchemy paints, I want to do a ring pour!

My Colors are:

Art Alchemy
-Opal Magic Aqua-Rose
-Sparks Iris Potion
-Sparks Butterfly Spells

Arteza
-Violet

Golden
-Payne's Gray

DecoArt Americana Decor Metallics -24K Gold

My Pouring Medium is:
Liquitex Gloss Medium & Varnish
(Its one bottle, premixed)
Paint
Floetrol
Water if needed

There is no silicone in my paint.

I layer the cup carefully down the side, keeping contrast in mind. Light, dark, light dark

I pour a ring pour into a puddle of gold and then use my small comb to 'wreck' the pour. I decide to go thru the center swirl.. it makes a very pretty design.

I tilt to cover the canvas and then make small adjustments until I feel like there's not too much paint left on the canvas.

Its a bit darker than I wanted but I want to see how the Art Alchemy paints dry. I have some paint left, so I scrape my drips into a cup, then layer a 5 ounce dixie cup with my remaining paint. I have a 12x12 gallery wrapped canvas ready to go.

I think I used less Violet and more of the Art Alchemy paints in the second canvas, its more what I was hoping for in the first canvas. Its very pretty and very sparkly!

Looking at the dried canvases in the sun is a bit surprising, the mica in the paints is extremely sparkly.. its pretty cool! I have ordered more of these paints and will be using them again. I feel like I haven't quite gotten it right yet and I really want to!
