Today we visit Wupatki National Monument located in Northern Arizona. Here we find the remnants of a civilization that inhabited these lands from 1100 AD to 1250 AD. Despite the desert like climate of this area, this pueblo was a thriving hub for trade until an eventual draught forced people to migrate and abandon their gorgeous creations. Exploring the ruins transported me to a different time, but learning the history really highlighted the parallels to human behavior today. Thank you for watching!
