🔹 K-pop sensation BTS has gone public, with the group's management agency Big Hit Entertainment holding an initial public offering today.
The IPO began in the morning with an opening price of KRW 135,000, and that figure jumped to KRW 270,000 within minutes.
The New York Times said the group's massive fan club Army is the secret weapon behind Big Hit's USD 4 billion IPO.
The daily added that investors are paying for BTS' huge and highly connected ecosystem of followers, not the group itself or its agency.

팬들의 거대하고 밀접하게 연결된 생태계라고 전했습니다.

🔹 Tickets for the 25th annual Busan International Film Festival went on sale today at 2 p.m.
The festival will run from Oct. 21-30, and tickets will be sold until the end of the event.
Organizers originally planned to hold the festival online this year due to the pandemic.
But the government recently lowered the social distancing level to 1, so the organizing committee decided to hold the opening ceremony offline.
Tickets will be available only on the festival's official website and smartphone app given the pandemic.
