Quantum Chemistry 9.3 - Hartree-Fock Helium Atom

Описание к видео Quantum Chemistry 9.3 - Hartree-Fock Helium Atom

Short lecture on the Hartree-Fock procedure for the helium atom.

We start with an initial guess wavefunction, which generates an effective mean-field operator. The mean-field operator generates a new wavefunction. This cycle iterates until the wavefunction and the energy stops changing, reaching a self-consistent field (SCF).
