TNS Tutorials: Pivotal Cloud Foundry Walk-Through Part 1 - Introduction

The video embedded below is the first in a four-part series, running through early next week, that will walk users how to get started using the Pivotal’s Cloud Foundry-based set of cloud services. Cloud Foundry can run Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, OpenStack clouds, VMware’s vSphere-based clouds.

In this introductory installment, Michael Coté, director of technical marketing at Pivotal, provides a high-level overview of how cloud services are architected. Cloud Foundry, and its supporting tools, provides the interface to developers so they don’t have to worrying about configuring databases, middleware, or others services needed to run an application in the cloud.
