Formanta Polivoks for sale. 1982 model. This is a really unique synth with a one-of-a-kind filter and lots of quirks (for example, portamento only on one oscillator!) and a very useful duophonic (paraphonic) mode and I'm honestly really sad to sell it, but I haven't made any electronic music in a decade and I've been on bass duties ever since, so it's literally there gathering dust, and I'd rather have the money to invest on bass gear at this point.

I've made a few videos (with just a touch of delay and reverb, and veeeery light mastering with TDR Limiter 6, at most 2dB compression and likewise for clipping and limiting) where you can see me noodling on the synth (and making lots of mistakes - I literally haven't played a keyboard seriously in a decade) and it's fully functional, bar a few scratchy pots and some weirdness now and again. It keeps the tuning quite well - old-school VCOs and Soviet consumer technology, so they drift and need a touch every now and then, but nothing major, maybe a one degree turn of the dedicated knob - and all the keys work.

Like a lot of Soviet products, it's really easy to service - no hard to find parts (relatively speaking, and don't bother getting the original Russian chips, they're clones of Western tech anyway) and a modular build that comes in handy. It comes with its original expression pedal (which I use in most of the videos), a DIN cable (to connect the pedal), a DIN-to-male jack cable (to connect the synth to whatever) and a DIN-to-female jack adapter (to use whatever jack you want, for example to process external audio through the filter and VCA).
