MacBook Pro destroyed by cheap charger cable! Can I fix it?

Описание к видео MacBook Pro destroyed by cheap charger cable! Can I fix it?

Today we have an A1708 13" MacBook Pro that has no power. As you can see there is something very wrong with the charger port on this MacBook. Badly made charge cables or USB-C accessories can do lots of harm to your machine. Here we see that the pins of the plug and the pins of the socket just didn't line up, causing a short and killing the I/O chip for the USB-C port. Instead of just not lining up I've seen the cheap cables rip the pins in half down the center like they were clawed by a tiger!
Cheap cables don't pay out in the long run. Get good cables!

If you have a device that needs repair bring it in or mail it in.
