In this video, I will show you how to setup a Xiaomi Router as a Wireless Wi-Fi repeater. I will be unboxing the new Xiaomi Router 4C to set it up as a Wi-Fi repeater. I will also show how to return to the normal Router mode if you want to revert from the repeater mode. There are many Wi-Fi repeaters available in the market. The Xiaomi Wi-Fi repeater Pro is also available. However, I will show you why, buying a Xiaomi Router is better than a repeater. A Mi Router can be used in 3 models, viz. Base station, Wired and Wireless repeater. You can also use the Ethernet ports in the router. However, the dedicate repeaters have limited functions. And moreover, the Repeater Pro and the Router 4C are similar priced. Hence, I recommend you go for a Mi Router, if you need an extender for your home or office. In the video I will also talk about Wi-Fi roaming in extenders.
