Stephen Douglas Gravesite and Memorial

Today, we are visiting the Grave of the Man Who Could have been our 16th President. This is a visit to the grave and tomb of Stephen A Douglas, who battled Abraham Lincoln in the Lincoln-Douglas Debates, beat Lincoln for a seat on the US Senate, but lost to Lincoln in the 1960 Presidential Election. Had Douglas won the presidency, Lincoln would have barely been a household name, and where would our country have went from there? It's an interesting thought that we will explore in this video as we visit the grave of Abraham Lincoln's greatest rival here in Chicago, Illinois.
