It’s time to meet the flock! In this video, we’re letting our 14 chickens out of the brooder for the very first time and into a temporary outdoor run. It’s nothing fancy — just some wooden stakes and plastic netting — but it gives them a chance to stretch their wings, peck around, and get used to the outside world while we finish building their coop.

You’ll see a mix of breeds, including Black Australorps, Buff Orpingtons, Barred Rocks, Easter Eggers, and more — all getting their first taste of fresh air and freedom.
