This is the full video of the journey and explore of the "Red Dragon Gold Mine, in Mid wales, I have done recently.

At one point in the walk to the mine, we found a small pond which had tadpoles swimming around. We thought it was a good idea to stick the Go Pro in and have a look around!

Some information about the mine is below:

The "Red Dragon" mine is a historical gold mine located in Mawddwy, Mid Wales, known for trials of gold in the 1850s, though it was initially a lead mine started in 1852. While it's named after the Welsh symbol, it was ultimately the only site in Mid Wales where large-scale machinery was built for gold extraction. The site is now abandoned, but its history is documented in records like those from Mindat.
Location: The mine is located in Mawddwy, Mid Wales.
History: It began as a lead mine in 1852 and was later used for gold trials in the 1850s.
Significance: The Red Dragon mine was the only site in Mid Wales to be equipped with full-scale machinery for gold extraction, although the gold trials were ultimately unsuccessful.
