Our day started early with our driver picking us up in Amman and heading three hours South to Petra. Petra is an ancient Nabataean city that was "lost" for centuries until a Swiss explorer tricked a local into showing him where it was. Now, it is an UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the 7 Wonders of the World.

After sweating our butts off exploring the city all afternoon in the blazing sun, we got back in the car and headed another two hours south to Wadi Rum where we spent the night at a Bedouin camp.
