Were Ratchet & Clank's Spinoffs Really That Bad? | All 4 One & Full Frontal Assault Retrospective

There's a clear line in the sand marking the different eras of Ratchet & Clank: There's the PS2 Saga, the PS3's Future Saga, and then after 2010 things get...weird. The "bad batch" era of Ratchet & Clank only makes up two of the worst-received games in the R&C series, All 4 One and Full Frontal Assault, but these two games are sometimes considered the first steps in the downfall of the franchise. Looking back a decade later with more insight into their development, was the Spinoff Era as bad as many fans say, or are they hated more for being different than truly "bad?"
