In this vlog, I share why my midwife sent me to labor and delivery early before my due date and why I was induced. You’ll see the real and raw moments of my six-hour unmedicated labor, filled with emotion, strength, and the most amazing support. My husband was incredible during the unmedicated process, standing by me every step of the way.

Most importantly, you’ll see Skylar’s dream come true, after years of manifesting a sibling, she finally became a big sister to her baby brother. Watching her step into that role and shower Khiry with love has been one of the most special parts of this journey.

My unmedicated, natural birth was made easier because I mentally prepared myself. I used daily meditation to visualize how I wanted my birth to look and feel. At one point, I wanted to try a home birth, but I also knew I needed balance and to do what was right at the time.


There’s so much negative talk about hospital births, but I decided from day one not to let those stories control my mindset. Instead, I meditated for a supportive staff, one that respected my birth plan and my choices — including my no vaccine policy for my newborn. To my surprise, they met me in the middle, respected my wishes, and I could not have been happier.Along with preparing my body through food, breathing, and meditation, this mindset allowed me to have a raw, unmedicated, natural labor that was short and powerful. Six hours of labor felt like a blessing, fast, empowering, and unforgettable.
