This video is about the use of a righting pole to upright your Hobie 16, 17 or 18 when you have capsized. The video was shot on land, but the system has been thoughly tested in the water on all thee boats....when righting the 16 or 17 the inboard end of the righting pole is inserted into the V on the underside of the deck lip.
