For the last several years, SodexoMagic has been participating in a CPS job shadow day specifically for their CTE (Career and Technical Education’s) CAPTM (Construction, Architecture, Pre-Engineering, Transportation, and Manufacturing) department. This year, due to the need for remote learning, the CTE had asked us for a Virtual Job Shadow Day, in which we would highlight our company and a project we are designing, building, repairing, or have built. Thus, we decided to host a ‘day in the life’ of a SodexoMagic CPS Engineer, a tour through a high school physical plant as well as highlight our Roving team members, the TAP program and its participants as well as an overview of some of the technology we are deploying across the district.

Through our relationship with the CTE, we were lucky to be connected to a videographer, Sam Cejtin, who did a fantastic job directing our content. We also engaged with CPS to have a couple of CPS seniors who have a passion for filming, help with collecting/shooting content. We are excited and proud to partner with CPS in the endeavor and look forward to future collaborations.
