Karma Tequila Ginger and Pomegranate “Bloody” Margarita

Quantities:

1 1/2 oz (6 ct) KARMA Tequila Silver
1 oz (4ct) Orange Liquor or Triple Sec
1/2 oz (2 ct) Fresh Pomegranate Juice
1/2 oz (2ct) Ginger Syrup
2 Lime Wedges
1 tall glass full of ice

To make the ginger syrup, I simply peeled a 2 inch piece of ginger, popped it into a blender with 1.5 cups of water and blitzed it. Pour the liquid into a saucepan and add 3/4 cup of sugar. Boil this for 5 minutes until you get a thickened syrup. Next strain the liquid through a sieve into a jug. Discard all ginger pulp and you have a ginger syrup ready to rock.
Mix all drink ingredients together and pour over ice.
