Chauncey Billups led the Pistons with 37 points, but Ben Wallace's contributions were perhaps the most well-rounded and impacting, turning in a 4x5 of 7 points, 12 rebounds, 5 assists, and 5 blocks (Wallace also had 2 steals, while announcer George Blaha mistakenly credited him with 5)..

The Pistons would advance to face the Philadelphia 76ers in their 2nd round series.
