This was the Stupidest Thing I’ve Tried with Hunters…

I had this idea to bring out the Hunters with a “inverted mud puddle,” filling them with juicy mud and plunging fresh white socked feet into them.

Problem 1: these Hunters are hardly oversized—I can comfortably get thick socks into them, but never that plus clods of mud. Note, I never even get the right boot fully on.

Problem 2: I’ve struggled to pull these boots off with mild flooding before. The left boot, which I had firmly jammed my foot into (in spite of having no room to do so), was so stuck fast and my toes so squeezed by the suction that I briefly contemplated cutting my beloved Hunters open just to free myself. Fortunately, my 7-minute struggle—which you do NOT see—was eventually rewarded with my foot.

Problem 3: this produced the biggest 🤬 mess I’ve ever had to deal with indoors.
