Government has been commended for reforms put in place in the last four years that have fostered national development.

Governance Expert John Lijimu says the Government since assuming office has put in place policies that have directly translated into improving the lives of citizens.

Mr Lijimu says among the policies undertaken by Government is the increase in Constituency Development Fund CDF which has produced tangible results including Youth and women empowerment.

And Continental Leadership Research Institute Executive Director Mundia Hakoola said the Government has made significant progress in the fight against corruption with evidence seen from assets that have been recovered so far.

Meanwhile, on education, Zambia National Union of teachers ZNUT General Secretary Ivwanjilanji Siwila said the UPND Administration should be commended for bridging the pupil -teacher ratio through the recruitment of more teachers.

Meanwhile Economist Kelvin Chisanga said reforms that have been put in place have boosted investor confidence and attracted foreign investors.
