Being primarily a climber and free soloist, this adventure encompassed far more exciting things than the immediate thrill of soloing barefoot up tall volcanic towers in the East African rift valley, the famed 'Pride rock' itself included. From diving head first into a leopard's den to rappelling and wading through overgrown, potentially snake infested vegetation. From the screams of excitement to the vocalization of local primates; this amateur film shot on a tiny GoPro camera will take you on a wild and intimate ride through Kenya's Hell's Gate National Park with none other than your's truly; a native climber.
