What is Acupuncture?

🏥 It's defined as: a system of integrative medicine that involves pricking the skin or tissues with needles, used to alleviate pain and to treat various physical, mental, and emotional conditions.

The way I perform acupuncture 99% of the time is adding an electrical stimulation to the needles themselves as well.

I personally find that the needles on their own don't have much of a life-changing effect, but the addition of electrodes change everything.

Lots of people have fears of needles and don't go for acupuncture - but these needles 100% do not feel like vaccine needles - they feel more like small, sharp pinches.

Weirdly enough, most of the time you'll feel a dull achiness rather than any sharpness - usually due to the difference receptors being activated.

So don't fret! Give it a try and see if you like it, if you don't, you'll have all the experience you need to say you didn't like it!
