32 years ago today, during halftime of an L,A, Lakers game, the team honored EARVIN "MAGIC" JOHNSON in a star-studded ceremony retiring his jersey. NBA greats that participated included LARRY BIRD, WILT CHAMBERLAIN, JAMES WORTHY, JERRY WEST, ELGIN BAYLOR and KAREEM ABDUL JABBAR. Johnson would soon be playing in the NBA again.
