How to thrive as a designer in the consultancy world, with Reid Schlegel

On this week's Design Sync Podcast I chat with the one and only Reid Schlegel about his journey as a designer and the learning and experiences working in design consultancy. We get some great insight into how it is to work with various types of clients and some tips on how to become a better designer by having your own point of view.

Reid Schlegel, an NYC-based Industrial Designer with a solid history working in the design consulting and education space. He is currently an asóciate design director at Aruliden and previously worked at Frog and SMART Design. As a design educator Reid teaches junior year ID studio and process drawing & digital visualization at the Parsons School of Design. Reid graduated from Virginia Tech’s industrial design program and was the 2012 IDSA student merit award winner.
