MONTESSORI HOMESCHOOL | Morning Basket for Toddlerhood and Preschool

In this video I share our morning basket in our Montessori home. This was from just after my son turned 3 and my daughter was 15 months old. Morning basket is how we start our homeschool day and have since my son was a baby. This is a great way to connect and learn together in the morning. It is similar to a sort of circle time in a classroom and is popular in the homeschool world.

Our morning basket consists of reading, prayers, songs, and phonics. It is done in a way that includes both of my children: my 3-year-old and my 1-year-old. This video shares all the details and ideas to incorporate into your own morning basket. I share the days of the week song we sing. I discuss changes we have made over time to best serve my children during this time.
