In today's video I'm going to show you how to draw hair in detail using graphite pencils.

I recommend using a range of pencils from HB to 4B to achieve different shades and textures in your drawing.
start with a lighter shade pencil, such as HB to outline the basic shape of the hair. To make it look like realistic hair, I prefer using short, quick strokes.
The next step is blending the strokes. Use the same direction for blending with a smooth blending brush. You can also use a blending stump for blending purposes, which will help smooth out any harsh lines.Use a 2B pencil to achieve mid-tones Gradually work your way from lighter to darker shades using a 4B pencil for the darkest areas. While finishing the ends of the hair, make sure to include some small, loose strands or wispy details on the sides for a more, natural look.
