He learned plenty as a star bowler across town for GCU's rival. So much so that GCU Head Bowling Coach Ben Canfield was tabbed right out of college to start up the Lopes' Bowling programs, and he's lifted them to new heights each year.

Canfield joins GCU Club Sports Information Director Jim Howell on the latest edition of "In The Club" to talk about what inspired him to become a coach so that he could inspire others; why being an ASU alum has helped grow GCU's program; and what adversity the Lopes faced last year that turned out to be a blessing for all involved.
