Anjali Sivaramakrishnan, PT, PhD, studies neuroplasticity. Her recent research involves studying the utility of transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS), a form of non-invasive brain stimulation, and aerobic exercise on neuroplasticity in people with stroke. Her future research goal is to further develop tDCS as a clinical adjunct for people who work with different neurological disorders. She is interested in collaborating in the areas of neuromodulation and neuroimaging-based technologies in order to better understand the interactions between the brain’s cortical circuits that underlie lower-limb movement in people with stroke and other neurological disorders.
