Adirondacks 6 Day Peaceful Canoe Exploration Solo

Based Camped at Fish Creek Pond Campground. Was here to explore and check out the back country camping options and to just see this amazing area. This was basically a scouting trip for future trips to get a lay of the land. Turned out base camping was the right choice after i lost my camera, phone, and alot of footage in the water..lol..But, I did base camped to ensure I had a place to stay if all the remote sites were taken, not being familiar with how crowded it would be. Exploring from a base camp is a great option here. . Explored the various loops in the amazing Saranac Wilderness Area including Upper Saranac Lake. Absolutely blown away. It is a canoeists' paradise. Met so many great people but once out on the water, had full days of solitude and the beauty in thIs Northeastern Wilderness is spectacular.

Special Thank you to all the Adirondack Youtubers that I subsribe to that thru their work and great channels, gave me at least a glimpse of what I could expect. I would highly recommend the following channels if you are planning a trip here. i dont know any of them personally, but They all do a great job and are great ambassadors for these wilderness areas that they love. As a New Englander, I will be taking the 6 hour drive to get here as often as I can for the rest of my life. May this place never be changed. Please support the following Adirondack channels.
