Today we make a simple nut free orgeat that tastes like real almonds... because we use the extract of real almonds!!!

This simple recipe is just a pared-down and even faster version than my 60 Second Orgeat    • The EASIEST way to make Orgeat - revised!   and all we are doing is removing the almond milk concentrate part of the recipe. While it may seem like that would remove all the almond flavor, it doesn't... It's not quite as full almond flavor as the normal version, but it is very close. And the best part is you can enjoy your almond orgeat-based recipes without having to use an odd, unusual, or non-almond-based ingredient.

400 grams sugar
1 ½ tsp almond extract***
1 ½ tsp rose water
1 ½ tsp orange blossom water

*** I went back and added in an extra ¼ tsp almond extract
