Flynn was the Zaxtor of the Doom community. His maps aren't "played" so much as they're deciphered, and his work makes Hexen 2 look like a child's play in comparison. These maps are gigantic, secret-heavy (sometimes those secrets are mandatory...) and quite cryptic. However, if you can understand their inner logic, they're actually some the best works by a Master Levels author.
Acquired taste, but i appreciate his work for what it is.
