Dacoity Gang of Nepal Nationality were Nabbed by Commissioner’s Task Force, North Zone Team and Karkhana Police, Hyderabad City

On 08-12-2025, Credible intelligence, the Commissioner’s Task Force, North Zone Team along with Karkahana Police apprehended & arrested a Nepali gang involved in Dacoity in the house of Capt. D.K. Giri (Retd) at Plot No. 210, Gunrock Enclave, Road No. 12, Karkhana, Secunderabad. The Nepali gang forcibly confined him and assaulted him, looted the house and decamped with booty i.e., Gold ornaments weighing about 23 tolas and Cash of Rs 95,000/.

 MODUS OPERENDI:

Initially, the complainant approached an agency M/s Rajbir and Company to hire a Nepali couple as domestic workers. The agency subsequently contacted Mahendra Shahi and Upendra Shahi to arrange for Nepali servants. At that time, Mahendra Shahi and Upendra Shahi conspired with criminal intent to loot the complainant’s house by planting two individuals—Raj Bahadur Shahi @ Rajendra Shahi and Rekha Devi Rawal—who would pose as husband and wife. Pursuant to this plan, Mahendra Shahi and Upendra Shahi contacted Rajendra Shahi, who was in Karnataka, and briefed him about the work to be undertaken at the complainant’s house. They later contacted Rekha Devi Rawal, who travelled from Mumbai.

To execute their plan, all the accused—namely, Mahendra Shahi, Upendra Shahi, Netra Shahi, Surendra Singh, Gorkhe @ Gopal, Birendra Shahi, Umesh Shaha, Mahesh Sunar, Amit @ Prakash, and Subhash—assembled at Puran Singh’s @ Prem Singh room in Tolichowki, where they discussed the conspiracy and waited for an opportune moment. On the intervening night of 15/16-11-2025, the accused persons entered the complainant’s house, tied his hands and legs to a chair, and assaulted him. They snatched all the jewellery he was wearing, searched his room, and stole additional jewellery and cash before fleeing from the scene.
