Moto Trial vs Bike Trial

Pro Moto trial rider Kylee Sweeten joined me to show the similarities and differences between Moto and bicycle trials. Both sports are so niche with small communities spread across the country, so it was a huge surprise to both of us when we learned that we lived so close to each other. We’ve ridden together a handful of times, and wanted to share what it’s like to ride Moto and MTB trials together for a session.

In this video, I break down the differences between the two styles of bikes - what makes each special - even from their counterparts. Kylee and I use the terrain at her riding spot to demonstrate how each bike handles - and where each has an advantage.

I chose to ride my competition trials bike for this video, since it would be the best option (instead of my Inspired Fourplay 24” street trials bike) to attempt to keep up with Kylee’s high level of riding.

This video isn’t designed to pick a winner between the two disciplines, just a fun way to contrast the two styles of riding and share some insight from both riders on their experience.
