Webinar: Asset Administration Shell (AAS) - Interoperable Digital Twins for Industry4.0

Описание к видео Webinar: Asset Administration Shell (AAS) - Interoperable Digital Twins for Industry4.0

The Asset Administration Shell (AAS) is a core element of Industry4.0 by enabling a standardised digital representation of an asset (aka digital twin) giving uniform access to information and behaviour of the asset, and thereby facilitating interoperability among applications within one organisation and across enterprise boundaries.

Recently, AAS started to get more attention due to its endorsement and adoption by several key industrial stakeholders and also the availability of supporting technologies to facilitate its use/integration. The AAS specification was developed in the German Plattform Industrie 4.0 initiative and is now becoming a standard - IEC 63278 developed inside IEC TC 65 / WG 24.

This webinar aims to present the fundamentals and new developments of the AAS concept while demonstrating how to use AAS, showcasing enabling technologies to deploy AAS and presenting projects/initiatives taking advantage of AAS for smart manufacturing use cases.
