Khumai Dada (3,245 mtr) trek is a newly introduced and less discovered trekking section of Great Machhapuchre Trail, previously known as Machhapuchhre Model Trek. It is the closest alternate to crowded Mardi Base Camp trek. The view of Mt. Machhapuchre and the Annapurna Massif from Khumai Dada is almost identical as we see it from Pokhara.

Khumai Dada trek offers everything that we could ask for during any high altitude trekking. If you embark on this trek during the time of Rhododendron bloom, you might be treated to a gorgeous bloom full of red, purple, pink, white and other colorful flowers throughout the entire trail.

Like most of the treks around Annapurnas, this trek starts and ends in Pokhara.

It is very moderate and doesn’t demand advanced physical fitness level so anyone can do this trek.

I highly recommend this trek to everyone who loves nature, mountains, and trekking.

The season of Rhododendron (most awaited bloom of the year) is here. Go out and experience it yourself!
