There’s no way in the world Inception will ever get a sequel. You’re going to hear a lot of talk about the possibility of Inception 2. In fact at one point rumor had it that Chris Nolan would begin shooting Inception 2 after completing The Dark Knight Rises. That never happened, and it never will. Inception 2 is an idea which will never even be considered, let alone actually get done. Christopher Nolan is too smart to permit it.

This allows the trailer to focus on a specific actor or portion of the film. It could even change the plot or genre of the film entirely.
