16mm cine footage of river trials of the Almarine Seafire and what looks to be a prototype of the Javelin. The first section is filmed on the River Yare around the Trowse/Whitlingham area whilst the trials of the Javelin are probably at Weybread gravel pit in the Waveney Valley. The Almarine speedboats were built in Diss, Norfolk and this footage was produced by company owners Jim Price and Doug Bartlett c1974. Uploaded by kind courtesy of Sarah Briscoe.
