The Under Armour TriBase Reign 6 has been one of the most shocking cross-training shoes I've reviewed lately.

Shocking in the sense that I didn't expect to like this model so much. The TriBase Reign shoes have always been good, however, they've never really jumped out as a top performer for me. The Reign 6 has and that's for a few key reasons.

I think I've come to enjoy the Reign 6 so much because it feels minimalist and athletic.

As someone who rotates between barefoot shoes and training shoes, I appreciate the flexibility of this model. I also like that you can take out the drop-in midsole and use different insoles to get a pseudo-barefoot trainer.

I don't think this model will be a shoe that EVERYONE will love, but I think if you love flexibility/minimalism, athletic-fitting shoes, and grippy outsoles then you'll love this model.
