"The Time Machine"
is a science fiction film directed by Simon Wells, based on the classic novel by H.G. Wells. The story follows Dr. Alexander Hartdegen, a scientist and inventor in 1899 New York, who becomes obsessed with the idea of time travel after his fiancée, Emma, is tragically killed.

⏳Determined to change the past, Alexander builds a time machine and travels back to save Emma, only to find that her death is inevitable. Frustrated, he journeys into the future, first to 2030 and then to 2037, where he witnesses the destruction of the Moon and the resulting chaos on Earth.

Accidentally propelled 800,000 years into the future, Alexander discovers a world where humanity has evolved into two distinct species: the peaceful Eloi and the predatory Morlocks. He befriends an Eloi woman named Mara and learns about the Morlocks' control over the Eloi. Alexander must confront the Morlocks' leader to save Mara and the future of humanity.
