Описание к видео 1969 World Series Game 3 NEW YORK 10/14/69 NBC

Recent complete remaster/restoration of the Original NBC Broadcast raw network footage (no breaks to commercials etc.) Recorded and Digitalized off a few sources I've collected and recorded over the last 30-25 years two versions from pre recorded DVD discs and a VHS pre recorded tape for the most complete and best quality I have in the archives with some recent frame rate and color corrections to the classic series, and a new audio track of the NBC Broadcast with Curt Gowdy and Lindsay Nelson from Shea Stadium. Includes the pre game show WORLD SERIES REPORT with Mikey Mantle and Sandy Koufax and Jim Simpson.
With the Series ties at a game a piece Earl Weaver starts left hander Jim Palmer for Baltimore and Gil Hodges send rookie pitcher Gary Gentry for New York. the Mets jump on Palmer early with a lead off HR from Tommie Agee as Palmer has control issues throughout the game.
Game famous for Tommie Agee's catches a run saving catch off the bat of Elrod Hendricks to end the 4th inning and a diving grab in right center off Paul Blair to end any Oriole threat in the top of the 7th.
Gary Gentry with the win (1-0) goes 6.2 innings giving up 0 runs on only 3 hits as Nolan Ryan comes in to end the threat in the 7th and keeps the Orioles scoreless and earns the save (1). Jim Palmer with the loss (0-1) goes 6 innings giving up 4 runs on five Mets hits. Ed Kranepool hits his first HR of the 1969 Series in the 8th off reliever Dave Leonhard to seal it for the Mets as they take the 2-1 lead in the series
