Welcome to one of my FAVORITE weeks of the entire year — our family’s annual summer vacation in Orlando! ☀️🏝 Every year we pack up the whole crew and make magical memories together, and this trip was honestly the BEST one yet. I’m so excited to share all the fun with you!
We kicked things off with an unreal hotel room tour — but honestly, it felt more like a HOUSE tour. 😲 We walked in and our jaws dropped. This three-bedroom, three-bathroom suite was bigger than our last house — it had TWO porches, a big terrace, a walk-in laundry room, a huge pantry… I was absolutely blown away. I had to show you every corner, because wow. I was seriously just so full of gratitude and excitement to spend the week there with the kids.
After getting settled, we hit the resort pool for some much-needed chill time. I share a few of my bathing suit outfit picks (you know I love a good Lilly Pulitzer moment), and give a mini OOTD rundown — because honestly, they’re just too cute not to share! 👙🌸
Then, the real adventures began...
🦈 SEA LIFE Aquarium
We LOVE this place — it's become a tradition every year. It's super interactive and educational, with walk-through ocean tunnels, touch tanks where the kids can feel starfish, and so many fascinating sea creatures. Everyone learns something new and has a blast. It's such a fun and low-key outing for families with kids of all ages!
🕴 Madame Tussauds Wax Museum
Okay, this one was hilarious. I don’t have vlog footage because I only took 7 million vertical videos and photos for Instagram (LOL), but we had so much fun posing with wax celebs. If you want to see who we “met,” check out my Instagram @thewadsquad1 — I’m working on reels to post later this week!
🍽️ Golden Corral
Yes… the kids’ favorite dinner spot. Not because of the steak or veggies (ha!) but because of the all-you-can-eat dessert bar. IYKYK. 😂 It’s a core memory for the kids every time we go on vacation!
💦 Aquatica Water Park
Our first water park day of the trip and it was a total blast. We have season passes here (bundled with Busch Gardens), so it’s always worth the visit. There’s something for every single age — the splash zones, water slides, the giant wave pool, and of course the crazy river (aka Roa’s Rapids) that is a full-body workout but SO FUN. I usually take the littles to the smaller slides while the big kids do all the wild rides — it works perfectly!
🎡 Disney Days – Hollywood Studios + Magic Kingdom
We spent a full day at Hollywood Studios, rode all the classics, saw the new “Unlikely Heroes” villain show (SO GOOD), and met a few characters. We then made our way to Magic Kingdom, where yes — it rained. But let’s be real, it’s not summer in Florida without a rainstorm or getting stuck on the monorail! 😂 Meredith loved it though — she said the monorail was her favorite part of the whole day. Go figure.
✨ The next day we went BACK to Magic Kingdom and just went all in on the magic. We rode rides, ate treats, sweat our buns off, and I even got Pixie Dusted!! It was such a special moment and just reminded me how truly magical Disney is.
This vlog is packed with real moments, fun memories, travel tips, and a look at what it’s like to travel with a big family. I even share a few things I always pack when we’re out and about — snacks, clothes, and items that make being on the go a little easier with so many little ones.
