In this video, I walk through the steps of installing Decky Loader, which allows plugins for Steam. I am running Steam OS on an ASUS ROG Ally Z1 Extreme, but this should work for other models as well. Note that Steam OS is built on Arch Linux, and we will be using the command line. These commands are needed because both SimpleDeckyTDP and Huesync are not listed in the Decky Loader marketplace, they need to be installed manually. First, turn on your portable handheld and then press the menu button, then power, and finally switch to desktop. From here, you can launch the terminal by clicking the ribbon icon at the lower left corner of the screen, then search for "terminal" once it's open, paste the following three commands. Once they are installed, click the "return to gaming mode" icon on the desktop, then launch the right menu in steam, arrow down to the plug icon to see the Decky Loader installed plugins, and that's where both SimpleDeckyTDP and Huesync should be as shown in the video. This will let you adjust power options, RGB light settings (including turning off the joystick lights), and other options! Terminal commands, reboot to have them activate:

Install Decky Loader terminal command:
